Blossom of Apple 'Lady Sudeley', early May. An English dessert apple bred in about 1849 by Mr Jacobs of Chatham in Kent, and originally named 'Jacob's Strawberry'. It was marketed in 1885 by nurseryman George Bunyard, who renamed it after his customer, the Sudeley Estate. Widely grown throughout the UK.
